Pollen allergy is one of the most common allergen for asthmatics. Pollen from trees, herbs, shrubs, crops, grasses and weeds can be inhaled, and cause allergy and asthma symptoms. Pollen may travel many miles. Therefore, trees, grasses and weeds in your general area can cause allergy and asthma symptoms. These symptoms are seen more on dry, sunny and windy days and less on still, damp days. Pollen can be avoided to some extent by remaining indoors and living in urban areas, though it cannot be completely avoided.
